Champagne Fleury Fleur de l’Europe

Fleury – RM Courteron (Aube)

90% Pinot Noir – 10% Chardonnay

The amazing Jean-Pierre (Fleury) in 1962 took over the running of the family business, following the classic winemaking techniques.

In 1970 he started a cultural ecological marked not only on notions sterile apply to agriculture, but on a whole philosophy of life.

In 1989, the transition to biodynamic cultivation takes place in an extremely natural way by becoming the first manufacturer in the Maison Fleury biodynamic in Champagne.

This, in particular, is the result of the assembly of three vintages: 2004, 2003 and 2002, rests on the lees at least four years before being foul-mouthed and prepared for sale.

A beautiful nose of brioche warm and inviting, honey, hawthorn.
Light mousse, fine perlage, fragrance without limits.
A combination that opens the door to my desire to try it.

When the taste gives me a feeling of space, of roundness. It ‘crisp, feels very distinctly red fruit, but has a soft heart and a nice density that makes it balanced and elegant.

It ‘a nice wine dish, I can imagine already with a nice grouper tartare with chopped almonds, pink pepper and Sicilian olive oil, and maybe the sound of the sea in the distance and the air more’ cool that makes me the skin goose, and maybe a hug that warms me up and makes me smile thinking soul.
And it takes a toast.

Word of Dame.
