Champagne Pol Roger Brut Reserve

This mason was founded in 1849 by Pol Roger, quickly gained fame and recognition for the quality of its Champagne. In 1899 the heirs of Pol decide to change their family name by Roger to Pol Roger. Today it is a manufacturer of medium / large production, from 1.8 million bottles a year.
The assembly of this brut is classic: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier present for each third. The reserve wines are 20%
From a visual standpoint this champagne shows a beautiful yellow gold with a rich mousse and “chubby” made up of numerous small bubbles.
The nose has aromas of citrus and mostly hints of yeast.
The taste is dominated by citrus freshness and a first part, we present flavors of white peach and a hint of tropical. Persistence is mean and nice.
In the class of champagne aperitif is definitely one of those who has a richer flavor and a seal over time. Tastes are tastes, however, I find this champagne with aromas very pleasant and well balanced.Pol Roger Brut Reserve
